New Survey on Pentecostal and Charismatic movements

A new survey covering the religious, political and civic views of Pentecostals and Charismatics in the United States, Latin America, Africa and Asia was released by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life.

The survey was supported by the John Templeton Foundation – and was recently conducted in ten countries with sizable Pentecostal/Charismatic communities: the United States, Brazil, Chile, Guatemala, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, India, the Philippines and South Korea.

The survey is based on telephone interviews and oral interviews, conducted under the direction of Princeton Survey Research Associates International.

The survey results and the full report can be found and downloaded at http://pewforum.org/surveys/pentecostal/.

P.S. For a critical comment on the presented numbers cf. a recent entry on the the Hollenweger Center Web Log.
